Hi! Welcome to Cheap Eats Taiwan! We are currently based in Taipei, Taiwan. We started out as a bunch of high school students who want to learn how to cook. This website shows you our learning progress -- as amateur chefs who learn from our parents, cookbooks, and the Internet.
We are initially inspired by Buzzfeed Tasty, which produces a series of amateur cooking videos and have millions of followers on social media, and have been making our own dishes ever since. We are just amateurs who hope to contribute something on the Internet. (so you can be assured that we are going to bring you tons of beginner-friendly tips) We hope to provide you the simplest recipes that can help you develop basic cooking skills.

OUR MOTIVATION
We are students who are ultimately going to move out and live on our own. We have limited time and have a limited budget, so we have to make our own recipes.
Therefore, we created this website to help students, commuters, and those who want to learn to cook to acquire basic cooking skills. It's as simple as that.
